Kinefac Corporation continues its commitment to aspiring automotive engineers by backing the talented students of Northeastern University at the highly competitive Baja SAE Oregon event held May 30-June 3, 2023. This off-road vehicle challenge, organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), saw Northeastern’s team secure a 14th place overall finish among nearly 100 entrants. Kinefac engineers worked with the NU team to cold roll the axle shaft splines for their competition car.
The Baja SAE intercollegiate competition challenges engineering students to design, build, and race an all-terrain vehicle capable of withstanding rugged off-road conditions. It provides an invaluable hands-on learning experience, testing participants’ engineering prowess, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Kinefac is proud to be partnering with NU and its engineering students as they prepare for their careers in the automotive industry. Kinefac looks forward to continuing its support of the Northeastern University Baja SAE Team as they look ahead to next year’s competition!
