Congratulations to the Northeastern University BAJA SAE Team on their 1st place win at Clarkson University OktoBAJAfest on October 18th! And for their 11th place finish among more than 100 teams and 1,500 student competitors at Rochester Institute of Technology on June 5th!
Kinefac was thrilled to have supported this year’s team with the development and cold rolling of the axle shaft splines for their winning car. Each year, BAJA SAE teams at universities across the country design, build, and race an off-road vehicle they build from scratch. The BAJA events showcase each vehicle’s design and performance as it’s put to the test on a demanding overland course.
Recently the NU team came to Kinefac to show off their vehicle and let Kinefac employees test drive it around the parking lot!
