At Kinefac, we are always excited to support innovative engineering teams, and our partnership with the Northeastern University Baja SAE racing team is a perfect example. Kinefac engineers worked with the NU team to cold roll the axle shaft splines for their competition car.
The team kicked off with a strong showing at Baja SAE Michigan from September 12-15th. Their 2024 car ran in all four dynamic events and completed the grueling 4-hour endurance race without major issues.
Notable results from Baja SAE Michigan include:
- Overall Place: 19th
- Design: 17th
- Endurance: 11th
The team participated in OktoBAJAFest, an off-season exhibition hosted by Clarkson University from September 27-29th. This event allowed the team to showcase their 2022, 2023, and 2024 cars, providing valuable driving and hands-on experience for team members. Their 2024 car, #40, achieved standout results, placing 5th overall and 5th in the endurance race.
The hard work and dedication of the Northeastern Baja team, coupled with their innovative designs, have paid off with remarkable progress. We are proud to have contributed to their success and to be part of a partnership that embodies the spirit of engineering excellence and teamwork.
